Description During this course, you will create a burrito pillowcase. You will learn how to create French seams along with basic sewing skills DATE Thursday October 23th, – 9:30 am to 3:30 pm Skill Level: Beginner Instructors: Rita Buckle Supplies needed for class -Sewing machine in good working order with manual, presser feet, attachments, and foot controller -1/4″ foot for your machine if you have -Neutral colour thread (white, cream or light grey, black if selecting dark kit) -Burrito Pillowcase Kit or – Pillowcase fabric as follows: –> Pillowcase Body: 27″ x WOF (width of fabric) –> Cuff: 9″ x WOF –> Accent Trim: 2″ x WOF -thread snips or small scissors -stitch ripper -Mary Ellen’s Best Press (available during class) -Notebook and pen -Lunch **Irons and ironing boards as well as cutting mats and cutters will be available at class location.
