The “A” series connectors offer contacts and crimp tooling selections developed for both American Wire Gauge (AWG) as well as metric wires.  This series offers auxiliary wire contacts that accept a broad range of wires and used for communication/ control applications.  Another key difference is the use of a higher temperature, higher impact resistant plastic for applications that require these attributes. This change in plastic does not meet EN1175-1 which requires a material that offers higher resistance to Hydrofluorocarbons.
